While driving through the Troodos hills we'll also visit the traditional village of Omodos for a delicious lunch and time to explore!

Each boutique winery you'll visit is family-owned and you'll have the chance to meet the individuals behind the wine-making and have all your questions answered on this brilliant small group excursion. You'll tour the premises of at least two of the wineries to learn about the process and history of wine. Through each tasting session you'll discover the indigenous grape varieties of the island and experience a selection of whites, rosés and reds.

Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. We'll tour the Troodos mountain countryside to visit 3 different wineries and the wine cellar of a historical monastery. On this scenic mountain tour you'll enjoy the rural villages and meet real locals - plus the opportunity to buy wine at fantastic prices! Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery

This scenic monastery is dedicated to 'Our Lady of the Golden Pomegranate' and was founded in 1152 by monk Ignatios who found a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary off the shore of Pafos. Legend has it that it was thrown into the sea in Asia Minor during the iconoclastic period and drifted by the waves to Pafos. The present building dates to 1770.

Fantastic, Relaxed, Great Fun Day Out!!

We booked the Vino Venture tour through Viator, because we were looking to do a tour with a difference, and this came up. There was a special cashback deal on Topcashback too. It was £85 per person but it was well worth the money!

Me and my husband were picked up first from our hotel by the delightful Christina, to be joined by only 3 other people, so it was a really personal tour.

Christina is a Cypriot who moved to the UK when younger, and now has moved back. This is a godsend, as she could communicate with everybody in English, and the locals in Greek. She has a huge wealth of knowledge, and is so much fun to listen to

A very engaging and knowledgeable leader made for a lovely day. All the wineries chosen were very welcoming and we had a wonderful meze lunch. The journeys between wineries took us through the breathtaking scenery of the mountains.
There was absolutely NO pressure to buy any of the wines or produce which produced a very relaxed atmosphere.
I would thoroughly recommend this day long tour.

We went with guide Myra - she was fantastic. We got all of the information prior to the trip, communication was easy, we were picked up by our flat. The trip was comfortable and very fun as we received a lot of information and a few fun jokes. We visited 3 wineries- each very different. Got to taste not less than 4-5 different kinds of wine in each of them. Meze lunch was delicious, filling and gave us a glimpse of what a real meze looks like and a chance to try traditional foods. All in all would definitely recommend this trip as you get a good insight of what wine, food and people are like in Cyprus!
